Description

The Corporation and the British Columbia Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy (ENV) are seeking consulting services to produce Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) mesoscale prognostic meteorological data (the “Services”). The successful proponent will develop consistent WRF output to be used in dispersion models. The Services aims to replace the currently available British Columbia WRF output, which is based on years 2011 to 2015. The updated meteorological dataset will be made available to the public by the Corporation and/or ENV. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for the Corporation to enter into a consulting services agreement (an “Agreement”) with the successful proponent for the Services.              The total budget for the Services will be to a maximum of CAD $110,000, inclusive of all fees and taxes. There is however some contingency should the Corporation deem greater value for money by exceeding the budgeted amount.
