Description
FK Utilities is developing a 2.85MWac (4.7MWdc) fixed-tilt solar facility combined with space for a 3MW Energy Storage system. This project, titled the Sādę Initiative, will enable FK Utilities to sell energy on the Watson Grid through the Independent Power Producer (IPP) program of the Yukon Government.The Sādę Initiative encompasses the planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the Watson Lake solar farm. The farm will include solar panels, associated mounting systems, inverters, and wiring, all of which will be owned by FK Utilities.The 3MW Energy Storage system, and associated Micro Grid Control system will be separately developed by ATCO.
