Description

This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Geotechnical, Hydrogeological and Excess Soils Investigation Services for the Decew Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP) Watermain Interconnect as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The objective of this undertaking is to retain the professional services of a geotechnical engineering firm to complete geotechnical, hydrogeological (provisional), and excess soil investigations for the purposes of informing the design and construction tender of the proposed infrastructure. The proposed watermain design will include trenchless crossings of Highways 406 and 58 which fall within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO).  Bidders are required to be MTO Registry, Appraisal and Qualification System (RAQS) registered for Foundation Engineering – Tunnelling Specialty, High Complexity.This RFQ is being issued to a subset of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2023-RFSQ-184, specifically Category (one)1.
