Description
This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Renown SPS – Detailed Design, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).The Renown Street Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) located at 7 Renown Road in the City of St. Catharines. The station flows into the Port Dalhousie wastewater treatment plant. The station was originally constructed in 1968, and a new diesel generator building was constructed in 1995 beside the SPS. In 2009 a new exterior bypass and valve chamber, sections of the header and valves in the station were replaced. The station is in poor condition as such a sustainability upgrade is required. Refer to Appendix B – RFP Particulars for further information.This RFP is being issued to a subset of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2023-RFSQ-184 specifically Category nine (9).
