Description

SFU has a requirement for an integrated system capable of automating antibody cloning from flow-sorted single B cells and performing pseudovirus neutralization assays. This infrastructure is critical to the objectives of the PROGENITER project. It is SFU’s intention to award a contract for this source to Beckman Coulter. This purchase is funded by Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and the BC provincial government. As of the issuing date of this ACAN an application for the funds has been approved. All purchases pertaining to this research project are subject to availability of funds associated with this project. An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that SFU intends to award a contract for goods, services, or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a Statement of Capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the submission deadline stated in the ACAN, SFU may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier. If other potential suppliers submit Statements of Capabilities during the posting period, and meet the requirements set out in this ACAN, SFU may proceed to a Request for Proposal process.
