Description

CORU may require the successful Tenderers to provide professional legal services in any of the following areas as they arise from time to time during the course of the term: The provision of legal services to CORU in relation to discharge of its statutory duties and functions pursuant to all provisions of Part 6 of the Act and other relevant legislation; The provision of legal services in relation to legal proceedings taken by or against CORU, arising from the performance of CORU’s functions and duties under Part 6 of the Act, including Judicial Review, appeal of decisions of CORU, appeals to the High Court against sanctions imposed by CORU and the confirmation by the High Court of sanctions imposed by CORU. The provision of a comprehensive range of legal services which would include but are not limited to: - Advising CORU as required, on its responsibilities under Part 6 of the Act Drafting documentation, including legal documentation, pleadings and making oral and written submissions as and when requested to do so; Advice on all legislation, Regulations and EU Directives, as they may relate to CORU’s functions under Part 6 of the Act, and such other legal issues that may arise from time to time in a regulatory environment. Attending at CORU meetings including all PPC meetings to provide legal advice and legal representation as and when requested to do so. Further details available in Appendix 1.
