Description
Tender for the construction of a two-cell 40ML drinking water reservoir with Reservoir Distribution Centre (RDC). The reservoir will be situated atop a compacted soil fill pile, which was constructed under a previous project. The foundation design includes a significant number of deep caissons exceeding 20m in depth from the top elevation of the existing fill pile. The General Contractor will be required to construct the reservoir, RDC, and complete all related works as will be detailed in the Tender documents. Aspects of the scope of the Project include but are not limited to:Site mobilization and preparation, including environmental controls.CPP Feedermain construction to the extents of this Project as indicated on the Contract Ddrawings. A separate contract will be concurrently constructed and will ultimately connect to these feedermains.A reservoir distribution center valve chamber containing large diameter piping, flow measurement, valving, operator area, electrical room, and access house for entry into the reservoir.Site civil works including yard piping, road construction, site drainage re-scaping, landscaping, stormwater management upgrades.Standby power equipment.Associated electrical, instrumentation and controls.Incorporation of the operation of the Victoria Reservoir into the Region’s SCADA system.Construction of a snow storage area
