Description

The Town of Amherstburg is located in Southwestern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower‐tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The current population of The Town of Amherstburg is just over 23,500.The Town is seeking Proposals from qualified multi-disciplinary Consultants to complete Engineering Services for a Sanitary Masterplan (SMP).The SMP will create a guiding document for future improvements to all components of the sanitary system, including collection, conveyance, and treatment to meet existing regulations and future capacity needs in alignment with the latest Official Plan.The outcome of the SMP will be a Council adopted Master Plan in conformance with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment document process.The Proponent will be under the direct supervision of the Town of Amherstburg Engineering and Public Works Department.
