Description

The Department for Business and Trade team based in Saudi Arabia, in coordination with the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Investment (MISA) will help you understand how the new Regional Headquarters programme (RHQ) initiative can increase your presence in this market.

The RHQ is for companies that want to primarily work with the government sector in Saudi Arabia. The programme is open to multinational companies who have a presence (either through subsidiaries or branches) in at least two other countries outside of their UK headquarters and Saudi Arabia.

The webinar will be presented by the Senior Director from MISA.

The event will take place at 11am BST/ 1pm (Saudi Time)

Currently Omar is serving as the Strategic Partnership Director at the Ministry of Investment's Regional Headquarters programme, as he is responsible for creating and fostering new partnership opportunities with both the Government and Private sectors.

Ashrakat Moustafa

International Markets Adviser, Department for Business and Trade

I am a dedicated professional at the British Consulate in Jeddah, working with the Export Support Services team. I am part of a large team that covers the entire Middle East and Pakistan. My primary responsibility is to support small-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in entering the MEaP market by connecting them with the right partners and facilitating their establishment in Saudi Arabia. I play a pivotal role in ensuring that UK businesses achieve a smooth and prosperous market entry.

Mr. Mohammed Farooq

Senior Trade Adviser, Infrastructure Cluster - Department for Business and Trade

Farooq has over 25 years of experience in business development with International Organisations in different industries in Saudi Arabia. Farooq is currently with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) based at the British Embassy in Riyadh, part of the Saudi Infrastructure Cluster. He works closely with his colleagues at the Post and coordinate within the wider DBT network and support UK companies in the Saudi market by introducing them to the right clients and build strong relationship with them, mainly covering the Giga- Mega projects, Construction, Water/Waste Water Mgmt./Railways/Metros and Airports sectors.
