This session is hosted by Allianz Trade’s Senior Economist for Asia Pacific, Françoise Huang, we’ll look at the Country Risk ratings given to these countries, what this means and the opportunities this presents to those looking to expand their export operations.

Françoise Huang
Senior Economist, Allianz Trade
Françoise Huang is the Senior Economist responsible for Asia Pacific at Allianz Trade. She leads macroeconomic research and country risk analysis of the Asia Pacific region, as well as global trade research. Françoise is a regular speaker in international and regional media. Prior to Allianz Trade, she was the economist in charge of China and emerging markets at BNP Paribas Exane in London. There, she also worked on global and European topical themes. Her other work experiences include the Bank of France (within the ACPR, the French supervisor for the banking and insurance sectors). Françoise also teaches Applied International Economics at Paris Dauphine University. Françoise is a graduate from ENSAE Paris with a Statistician Economist degree, specialised in economic forecasting and public policies. She also studied at the Paris School of Economics within the APE programme (economic analysis and policy).
