Description

Saudi Arabia is a high-income country with large population, significant purchasing power and a growing reputation as an important destination for many foreign brands and companies in many different sectors. Known for its large-scale projects and strong UK trade links, UK exports to Saudi Arabia totalled £12.9 billion in the first quarter of 2023 alone.

In this session, we will provide you with an overview of the opportunities of selling your products or goods overseas to the Saudi Arabian market and how to confidently navigate the Saudi Arabia regulatory environment. You'll also hear from an International Trade Adviser with their top tips for success in trading to Saudi Arabia, along with how to overcome any challenges; and you'll be introduced to the Department for Business and Trade support available to assist you when selling to Saudi Arabian customers.

There will also be time for Q&A with our experts, so don't forget to bring along your burning questions for trading in Saudi Arabia!

Lana is knowledgeable on Saudi’s regulatory and investment environment, providing guidance to UK SMEs across all sectors, to support their business prospects and market entry into the Kingdom. Lana has 10 years of experience in business development and policy in both public and private sector.

Yazan Shukair

Head of Consulting, AEI Saudi

Yazan supports British businesses within key sectors such as education, healthcare and retail, to enter the Saudi market. Currently based in Riyadh, Yazan has lived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for over a decade and has worked closely with numerous local and international trade bodies such as the UK Department of International Trade, Advantage Austria, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and many others.
