Tuesday 06 February at 10:00AM
As we continue to evolve our online marketing in a “cookieless future”, how do we still create and optimise our website’s to improve user experiences using Google Analytics? Cue Consent Mode!
What you’ll learn
- Understand the consent mode feature in GA4
- How you can measure and increase conversions when advertising online
- How to apply this knowledge to your business
Description
In this session, a technical SEO expert from Footprint Digital will be guiding you through Consent Mode within Google Analytics 4. This feature helps advertisers operating in the European Economic Area and the UK to measure conversions while respecting user consent. It enables Google's tags to dynamically adapt, only utilising measurement tools for the specified purposes when consent has been given by the user. It then uses conversion modelling to fill measurement gaps where we are unable to directly tie users' ad interactions to conversions.
Not sure how Consent Mode and conversion modelling apply to your business? Not to worry! The Footprint Digital team will be taking you through all you need to know on average, Consent Mode recovers over 70% of ad click to conversion journeys lost due to consent choices. If you were able to recover that amount of user behaviour, what could that mean for your business if you harnessed that data?
