He has held roles as diverse as relationship director, national performance manager and CEO support, and has hosted events and webinars focused upon growing through trade. With over 30 years’ experience within the banking industry, he is a keen ally of those looking to broaden access to the opportunities available through overseas trade and activity.
Ana Boata
Head of Economic Research, Allianz Trade
Ana Boata is the Head of Economic Research since September 1st, 2021, leading the macroeconomic and corporate research of Allianz Trade. She joined the company in Fall 2012 as a senior economist focusing on European markets. In 2018 she became the Head of Europe Research and SME thematic research and Head of Macroeconomic Research in mid-2019. Ana received the 2018 Best Forecaster Award for the Eurozone from Consensus Forecast, and her team has been ranked among the top 10 best forecasters worldwide by Focus Economics several times. She gives regular interviews to international Tier-1 media on global topics. Before joining Allianz Trade, Ana spent two years as an economist at Exane BNP Paribas. She is an alumna of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas.
