Description
Take 30 minutes out of your day and join us to hear from Guy Schanschieff, the Founder of Bambino Mio, who produce reusable nappies and associated products. In this session, Guy Schanschieff will share expertise, insights and real-world experiences to help you navigate challenges, identify market opportunities and build confidence in expanding internationally.
Over the past 25 years, Bambino Mio has grown to become the world’s leading reusable nappy brand that provide sustainable baby and toddler products to over 50 countries, sold directly to parents through international eCommerce and via partnerships with retailers, including supermarkets and pharmacies.
Bambino Mio’s export journey began in 2002 and a strong export strategy played a significant role in helping to make reusable nappies mainstream by widening their international reach, especially across the EU.
Guy’s advice is “go for it! There will be challenges along the way but exporting opens up a breath of opportunity for your business and your team. Exporting enabled us to introduce reusable nappies to new markets where they were not previously available or popular.”
Guy sold the business to Private Equity in 2021 but continues to be passionate about sustainability and the power of business to make the changes we need.
