Zaha Hadid Architects: Shaping the future of Middle Eastern skylines

Zaha Hadid Architects’ (ZHA) collection of projects has captured imaginations across the globe. Creating buildings uniquely tailored to the communities they serve, ZHA has been awarded the highest honours from professional and academic institutions worldwide.

Founded by the late British-Iraqi visionary Dame Zaha Hadid in 1979, ZHA is one of the world’s most consistently inventive architectural studios - and has been for almost 50 years.

Decades of pioneering research are reflected in their architecture, making it more spatially inventive, structurally efficient, technologically advanced and environmentally considerate.

Combining innovative architectural solutions with ecologically sound materials and sustainable construction practices, ZHA continues to meet the aspirations of each new generation.

ZHA’s first completed project in the Middle East was the Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi in 2010. This groundbreaking work paved the way for numerous commissions across the Arab world which continue to make significant contributions to the skylines of the Middle East.

Iconic projects include the BEEAH headquarters, inspired by the Sharjah desert dunes, and the King Abdullah Financial District Metro Station in Riyadh. These designs' features are inspired by traditional Arabian mashrabiya.

ZHA celebrates its commitment to the Middle East by delivering transformative projects for visionary clients in cities like Baghdad, Doha, Dubai Riyadh, Beirut and Rabat. By setting new benchmarks in design and sustainability, ZHA contributes to the region’s growth, creating vibrant architecture for the 21st century.
