UK supply chain directory

The UK supply chain directory begins with a map offering an overview of the UK’s capability across all lifecycle stages of an offshore wind project. The following chapters present the expertise of the UK supply chain for each of the lifecycle stages.

A total of 62 UK companies active in the offshore wind supply chain are profiled. Each company has a dedicated page in the chapter corresponding to its core area of expertise. The profiles provide an overview of the companies’ capabilities, offshore wind track record, geographic presence, memberships and certifications, and contact details. All profiles are supported by information provided or confirmed by suppliers.

The directory includes both suppliers headquartered in the UK and suppliers headquartered outside the UK. Suppliers with headquarters outside the UK have been included because a significant part of their offshore wind services or manufacturing capabilities would be delivered from the UK.

All the companies profiled are active in the Japanese offshore wind supply chain or are considered to have the potential to export to the Japanese market.

Although no dedicated section is present for decommissioning, several UK suppliers from across the supply chain, particularly those listed in installation and commissioning, are likely to offer decommissioning services.

At the end of the directory, a glossary and an index provide definitions for the abbreviations used across the profiles and a list of the companies featured in the brochure.

Developers

In addition to supply chain companies, the leading UK developers active in the Japanese market have been included in the directory to provide detailed information on their portfolio and expertise, along with how they can support the development of the industry in Japan and the wider APAC region.
