Alex Polizzi

Alex Polizzi is both a great believer in British products and design and a successful businesswoman and hotelier in her own right.

As a presenter she is best known for the hit Channel 5 series The Hotel Inspector and has also fronted a number of other business shows including Alex Polizzi: The Fixer, in which she turns around family businesses, and Peyton and Polizzi’s Restaurant Rescue in which she and brother-in-law Oliver Peyton attempt to rescue failing restaurants.

Aside from television, Polizzi has also opened a wholesale bakery called Millers Bespoke Bakery, with which she supplied bread to big companies like Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.

A successful hotelier, she is closely involved with her family's hotel group, The Polizzi Collection, which is made up of three hotels, Hotel Tresanton, Hotel Endsleigh and The Star. She is co-owner of The Star with her mother, Olga Polizzi, and assisted with the set-up of the other two hotels.

She is also a successful author, publishing the entertaining hotel guide Alex Polizzi’s Little Black Book for Hotels.
